3 Burglaries, 3 Thefts, 2 Suspects

The latest from the Haddonfield Police.

reported three burglaries, two thefts and the arrests of two suspects in incidents since July 16.

Robert Pflueger, 37, of South Route 73 in Hammonton, and Travis Singleton, 30, of Thackeny Court in the Mickleton section of East Greenwich, were arrested on July 19 and charge with a burglary and shoplifting in the borough.

Both were arrested after reportedly trying to shoplift at a borough store. Police said they also confessed to a burglary in the 400 block of Farwood Road after they were picked up. The burglary was reported at 2:25 p.m.

Both were taken to Camden County jail. Pflueger was held on $5,000 bail and Singleton was held on $5,250 bail. Singleton was also charged with having "burglary tools" in his possession.

  • A resident returned to their home in the 400 block of Hawthorne Ave. on July 22 and found it ransacked. The incident was reported at 10:39 p.m.
  • A resident in the 300 block of Woodland Ave. returned to her home at 12:44 p.m. on July 16 and found it ransacked. She said she had been out for only two hours.
  • Two street signs were stolen on July 18 at Friends Avenue and Lake Street and at Chews Landing Road and Summit.
  • A bike was reported stolen from the 400 block of Linden Ave. on July 23. It was a blue Fuji beach cruiser. The victim said it was stolen from the side of the house in mid-June.
