9/11 Steel on Display in Haddonfield
A memorial is on display on Haddon Avenue near Kings Highway.
A steel girder from the World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City is now on permanent display in front of Haddon Fire Company No.1 on Haddon Avenue near Kings Highway in Haddonfield.
The girder is from the north tower of the building. The piece is one of 1,300 that has been awarded to various institutions and individuals throughout the country, according to fire company President Butch Brees.
