Baby Turkeys Rescued From Storm Drain In Camden Co.

The chicks have been reunited with mom.

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ — Firefighters rescued four baby turkeys from a sewer Friday in Gloucester City.

Crews were dispatched to Lambert Avenue after several residents heard what sounded like ducks in a storm drain.

Members of the Gloucester City Fire Department opened the drain covers and found a flock of baby turkeys.

Four chicks were retrieved and have been reunited with their mother.
