Block Party Sunday Benefits Katie Van Arnam's Fight Against Cancer
It takes place in Haddonfield today between 1 to 4 p.m.
The family and friends of Katie Van Arnam, a third-grader at the Central Elementary School battling lymphoma cancer, are having a fundraising block party today.
It takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Washington Avenue between Summit and Mountwell avenues. Bring your best cupcakes or cookies and see who has the sweetest treats in a cupcake/cookie bake-off . Light fare and Halloween punch will be served. Games, face painting and Halloween activities will also be featured, with children in costumes competing in a contest for most creative outfit.
Organizers are requesting a $25 per family donation. If you cannot attend and want to support Katie, checks can be made out to Casey Glazer and mailed to: Theresa O’Brien, 600 Warwick Rd, Haddonfield. Any questions contact Lisa Hurly at HURLY@AMEETINGPLACE.COM 856-429-8305.
