Meet "Zach," one of the most loved dogs at the Camden County Animal Shelter.

He was found as a stray in Gloucester Township in October and is estimated to be about 4 years old. He’s energetic, but a good listener.

"Zach" weighs 75 pounds and is a handsome boy with amazing markings. He is an extremely happy dog and would rather be out of his kennel playing with you.

"Zach" responds to "sit," "down" and "paw" commands, and he also loves belly rubs. He pulls a bit on the leash at first—that's just because he is so eager to smell and stretch his legs—but he soon calms down and is a great walking partner.

"Zach" would be good with a calm dog that can tolerate play, but he wouldn’t be good with cats or kids because he likes to play rough. He has a big heart, though, and just wants to have fun. He would be good in a home where he can receive lots of attention and exercise, along with some basic obedience training to get him top notch.
