Camden Diocese To Celebrate Pope Francis's Life
Camden's bishop said Pope Francis 'helped to transform the parishes I served.'
CAMDEN, NJ — The Diocese of Camden will hold services Wednesday to celebrate Pope Francis's life.
The mass begins at 12:05 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Camden. It will also be live-streamed on the diocese's Facebook page.

Pope Francis died on Monday at age 88. His funeral is set for Saturday.
On Monday, Camden Bishop Joseph A. Williams said Pope Francis "helped to transform the parishes I served."

"He dreamed of a Church that was poor, transparent, listening and that 'walked together'," Williams wrote in the Catholic Star Herald, a catholic newspaper in South Jersey. "I believe he died having brought us closer to that dream."
The Camden Diocese consists of parishes in Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties.
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is located at 642 Market St., Camden.
