Celebrate All That's Green at Saturday Fair
Clean out your house and know your discards will be recycled or reused, courtesy of Haddon Township's Go Green event.
It's time to get your green on for Earth Day with Haddon Township's fifth annual Go Green fair.
This Saturday, April 20, the township is hosting the eco-fair in the Westmont Theater parking lot on Haddon Avenue. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors can have some fun, get rid of household items and maybe pick up a few environmental tips along the way.
Go Green features face painting, recycling games and special activities for children. You can also bring household items for recycling. Some will be recycled, others will be repurposed.

Items to bring include:
- Gently worn shoes and clothing
- Documents for shredding
- Terracycle trash
- Electronic equipment
- Blankets, towels and old clothing for a local animal shelter
- Pharmaceuticals for disposal
