Dolores “Dillie” Jane Loucks, Former Haddonfield Librarian, Dies at 84

Dolores “Dillie” Jane Loucks

Age 84 * Barrington, NJ; longtime Haddonfield resident               

(nee Mark)  On June 6, 2013, formerly of Haddonfield, NJ, wife of the late James H., M.D.; Beloved mother of James Mark Loucks (Francine Seibert), Linda Leigh Roberts (Bob) and the late Kim Marie Loucks; Loving grandmother of James, Mia, Lindsey, & Kyle Loucks and Kelle, Katie & Jessica Roberts and Dear great grandmother of Riece & Logan.

Mrs. Loucks graduated from Cheltenham HS and then from Skidmore College in 1950.  She worked at the Haddonfield Public Library for many years.  She loved painting, knitting, reading, animals, family Disney vacations, chocolate and lunches with the girls.  Her family was her life.  She loved them all deeply and left them with the sentiment, “Laugh – Don’t cry!”

Services were held privately.  Memorial donations in Mrs. Loucks’ name may be made to Friends of the Haddonfield Library, 60 Haddon Ave., Haddonfield, NJ 08033-2469.  Arrangements by Kain-Murphy Funeral Services of Haddonfield, NJ.
