HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — It won't be long until voters in Haddonfield and Haddon Township head to the polls for the 2023 general election.

Election Day is Nov. 7, with every seat in the State Legislature and a host of local positions throughout New Jersey at stake.

Registered voters in New Jersey also have several ways to cast their ballots before Election Day. Voting by mail is already underway, and in-person early voting will run from Oct. 28 to Nov. 5.

The Rundown

Who's On The Ballot?

For Haddonfield and Haddon Township voters:

  • State Senate: In the 6th Legislative District — which includes Haddonfield and Haddon Township — State Sen. James Beach, a Democrat, will face Republican challenger Mark Doogan.
  • General Assembly: Assembly Members Louis D. Greenwald and Pamela R. Lampitt — both Democrats — face Republican candidates Daniel M. Kenny and Brian McRory in the 6th District.
  • Camden County Board of Commissioners: With two seats available, the Democratic incumbent ticket of Louis Cappelli, Jr. and Jonathan L. Young, Sr. will face the Republican slate of Jason Fanning and Norman C. Rebel, Jr.

For Haddon Township voters only:

  • Haddon Township Board of Education: Four candidates are running for three available positions. John Kendall, Isis Williams and Kellie Hinkle are running under the "Experienced Community Leadership" slogan. Joshua Kennedy is running independently without a ballot slogan.

For Haddonfield voters only:

  • Haddonfield Board of Education: Four candidates are running for three available seats — ballot slogans are attached for candidates who have them. The candidates are Stephen Derkoski, Shaherban "Nousheen" Yousuf-Sadiq ("Invest in Inclusion"), Jessica A. Drass (Mental Health Matters) and Michael Nuckols.
