Fatal Haddon Twp. Hit-and-Run Victim Identified
Authorities also found in Gloucester City the vehicle believed to have been involved in the fatal hit-and-run.
UPDATE, 9:43 a.m.: The vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run on the Black Horse Pike in Haddon Township Sunday was found in Gloucester City, Jason Laughlin of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said this morning. The owner of the vehicle has also been identified, but his or her identity has not been released.

Authorities on Monday identifed Joyce Putmon, 67, of the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township, as the victim of a hit-and-run on the Black Horse Pike on Sunday night.

She was killed while crossing the Black Horse Pike near the intersection with Washington Avenue in the West Collingswood Heights section of Haddon Township shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday and was pronounced dead at Cooper Hospital in Camden at 7:24 p.m., according to a joint statement from Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk and Haddon Township Police Chief Mark Cavall.
The incident occurred near Rexy's Restaurant and Bar.

The southbound vehicle that struck the victim and fled was described by witnesses as a pickup truck with a homemade structure in the flatbed area, possibly a produce box, the statement said. The truck was white, with a gray back and is missing a headlamp lens and amber turn signal lens. It may be a Chevrolet or GMC. The truck turned right onto Main Street toward the American Asphalt Company after striking the victim.
