Fatal Hit-And-Run Under Investigation In Camden Co.

The driver who struck and killed a woman remains unidentified, police said.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — A hit-and-run that killed a woman on Friday in Pennsauken is under investigation, authorities said.

The unknown driver struck a pedestrian and fled the scene at around 8 p.m. Friday on the 8000 block of Route 130 North, police said.

Police identified the victim as Jill Waters, 46, of Philadelphia.

Authorities described the fleeing vehicle as a dark-colored SUV, which continued northbound on Route 130.

Pennsauken police and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the crash.
