House Fire Injures 3, Including Child, In Haddonfield

A mail carrier saw the fully involved fire and called 911.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Three people were injured, including a child, in a fire that significantly damaged a house in Haddonfield, officials said.

A mail carrier saw the fully involved fire on 408 Spruce St. at around 3:10 p.m. and called 911.

Haddon Fire Company No. 1 and firefighters from surrounding communities controlled the blaze about 40 minutes later.

The Collingswood Fire Department shared a photo of the heavily scorched home.

A woman and child were brought to the hospital for smoke inhalation, while a firefighter was treated for minor smoke inhalation at the scene.
