Greta Feldman of Haddonfield Advances in 1500 at the Olympic Trials in Oregon

Princeton runner finished with 6th-fastest time and qualified for semifinals Friday In Eugene, OR.

Running safely in the lead pack, Haddonfield's Greta Feldman sprinted home to a sixth-place finish in her heat of the 1,500-meter run Thursday afternoon at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR.

She advanced to Friday's semifinals—keeping alive her dream of a London Olympic berth.

Feldman clocked 4:14.89 for the metric mile—the sixth-fastest of the 24 women who advanced.

Although boxed in for most of the race, the Haddonfield High School product ran comfortably in Lane 1 and was 2 seconds off her all-time best of 4:12.73, set at the NCAA championships, where she was fifth.
