Fall Festival, Car Show Coming Next Month To Haddon Township

Activities range from rides to all-day live music to the township's 1st apple pie-baking contest.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Haddon Township will welcome the fall with a day of activities, from the Jam Fest to a car show to some new culinary contests.

The Haddon Township Fall Festival runs from 12-10 p.m. Sept. 16 (rain date Sept. 17). According to the township, Haddon's annual block party has been retooled with more family fun.

  • Street Fair: 12-6 p.m., Crystal Lake Pool (West Park Boulevard and Crystal Lake Avenue), all the way down West Park Boulevard.
  • Jam Fest: 12-10 p.m. at the Crystal Lake Pool Complex.
  • Car Show: 12-6 p.m. on West Park Boulevard between Crystal Lake Avenue and Pyle Avenue.

Here are some of the festival's activities and offerings: live music and dance, rides, kid's entertainment, food trucks, a beer garden, health and wellness activities, and artisans and crafters. Special appearances will include Cinderella, Elmo, Spiderman, Captain America and Elsa. Pre-ride bracelets went on sale Aug. 21.

The festival will also feature the township's first apple pie-baking contest and wing-eating contest.

The Car Show benefits the Haddon Township Police Department's LEAD initiative (Law Enforcement Against Drugs). Prizes will be awarded for categories including "Best of Show," "Mayor's Choice," "Best Motorcycle" and more. The registration fee is $10.

The Jam Fest at the Lake (Crystal Lake Pool Complex) will feature live music all day on the Main Stage.
