Haddon Township Falls in OT to New Egypt in Group 1 Boys' Soccer Semifinal

The Hawks gave it everything they had but it still wasn't enough to advance in the Group 1 boys' soccer semifinal Tuesday.

Haddon Township bowed to New Egypt 1-0, after Travis Ward netted a rebound midway through the first overtime period in the game played at Haddonfield Memorial High School, a neutral site.

The Hawks goalkeeper Scott LaPan turned away eight shots, but it wasn't enough. Haddon Township finished at 20-4 for the season and New Egypt's record after the win was 22-2.
