Cooking Show Host Danny Seo To Attend Sprouts Farmers Market Opening In Haddon Township

The health-food magnate with a magazine and TV series will sign free cookbooks during the supermarket's opening day.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Sprouts Farmers Market has a full slate planned for the grand-opening weekend of its Haddon Township store, including an appearance from a star in the world of healthy cooking.

Danny Seo will meet fans and sign cookbooks during the new market's opening day, Sept. 8. "Naturally, Danny Seo" is a quarterly magazine centered around healthy cooking and green living. Seo hosts a television series of the same name that streams on Peacock and Apple TV.

Sprouts Farmers Market will hold grand-opening festivities from Sept. 8-10. The Haddon Township store (640 W Cuthbert Blvd.) will mark the grocer's second location in New Jersey and the health-focused chain's 400th overall.

A ribbon-cutting is set for 6:45 a.m. Sept. 8, with doors opening at 7 a.m. The first 200 in-store shoppers will receive a free reusable bag with samples, while supplies last.

The meet-and-greet with Seo begins at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 8. The first 100 guests will receive a free signed cookbook. Four attendees will find a $100 Sprouts gift card inside their books.

Founded and headquartered in Arizona, Sprouts opened its first store in 2002 in an effort to make fresh, organic foods less expensive or difficult to find, according to the chain's website. Sprouts entered New Jersey in 2019 with a market in Marlton.
