Haddonfield Crew had a great day at their first regatta of the year. On a cold day on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Haddonfield competed with teams from throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey at the second Manny Flick Regatta.
The Men's Novice 8 finished first in their heat with the best overall time out of 18 other boats for the day! On the boat were Louis Epstein, Alex Siciliano, Killian Graves, Jonathan Dye, Liam Rochford, Patrick Gilmartin, Paul Hurd, Nick Gangemi and Taylor Buttaro (cox).
The Women's Novice 8 of Danielle Coates, Kayli Marshall, Layan Jishi, Mari D’Anella-Mercanti, Emily Stasi, Veronica Fisher, Allison Sparrow, Elle Butler Basner and Katie Montegna (cox) finished second in their race.
Women's JV 8 finished second in their race. The boat was made up of Katie Wilkinson, Rachel Berkowitz, Nicole Sanchirico, Jessey Blau, Lauryn Ragone, Meghan Knecht, Kaitlyn McConville, Anna Sparrow and Julia Gallwitz (cox).
Next week, Haddonfield Crew will be racing at the third Manny Flick on the Schuylkill.
