Haddonfield Garden Club Wins at Philadelphia Flower Show

The club won honorable mention.

The Haddonfield Garden Club won an honorable mention over the weekend for its Hawaii Islands of Aloha exhibit at the 2012 Philadelphia International Flower Show, according to a club member.

The borough garden club, the oldest in New Jersey, has won several blue ribbons in recent shows. This year's exhibit remains in the running for further prizes later this week, club members said.

The club’s committee chair and designer, Betsy Gagliardi, co-chairs Margie Leone and Joylne Dalzell, and a dozen other garden club members created a peacock-themed, floral exhibit in a Hawaiian setting under the title, “Missed Once But Not Twice!”
