School Board Races Take Shape In Haddon Twp., Haddonfield
Haddon Township has 5 candidates running for 3 spots. Here's who's running in the local Board of Education races.

HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Haddon Township is set for a competitive school board race, with five candidates running for three positions up for election.
In Haddonfield, three current school board members are set to run for re-election without opposition.
Monday marked the filing deadline for hopefuls to file petitions for candidacy in New Jersey's school board elections, which will be held during General Election Day on Nov. 4.

In Haddon Township, Marie Dezii and Krystin Souder are running for re-election to the Board of Education. Dezii currently serves as board vice president.
The candidate field also features three challengers: Jose' Calves, Anthony "Tony" Cianciarulo and Elyse Wilson. Cianciarulo and Wilson are both campaigning with the "Neighbors For Community" slogan.

School Board Member Renee Billingsley did not file to run for re-election.
Haddonfield's School Board race features three incumbents running unopposed for re-election: Linda Hochgertel, Gregory Esemplare and Jaime Grookett.
Grookett and Hochgertel currently serve as the board's president and vice president, respectively.
School board elections are nonpartisan. But candidates can choose a slogan to appear with their name on the ballot.
