Haddonfield Japan Exchange Gets $3K from Subaru
The money will help support a visit from Japanese students this summer.
Japanese students visiting Haddonfield this summer will get a helping hand from a local corporate sponsor.
Cherry Hill's Subaru of America, Inc. has made a donation of $3,000 to support the activities of 22 Japanese guests from Kasukabe who will be staying in Haddonfield for a two-week visit this summer.
Fourteen students from Haddonfield went to Japan last year and stayed with Japanese host families. Next year another trip to Japan is planned for Haddonfield students.

The exchange receives wholehearted endorsement, but no financial support, from the borough or the school board. Most of the costs are paid by parents, fundraisers and local organizations like Subaru, the Lions Club, the Rotary and other local businesses.
