Haddonfield Little Leaguers Win Borough's 1st State Baseball Title
The borough will celebrate with a parade before Haddonfield's 11-and-under team travels to Massachusetts for Eastern Regionals.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — A local Little League team has returned to Haddonfield as state champs. Before they compete in regionals, the borough will celebrate with a parade.
The Haddonfield 11U Little League District Team defeated Toms River, 9-5, on Sunday in New Jersey's State Finals for children ages 9 to 11. The team will advance to the East Region Invitational against 10 other state champions in Beverly, Massachusetts.
The team is Haddonfield's first to win a state championship, according to Justin Singleton, Haddonfield Memorial High School's baseball coach.

"Haddonfield 11U District Team is putting South Jersey, and the state for that matter, on notice that the future of (Haddonfield High School baseball) is bright!" Singleton said on Instagram. "You’re looking at the best 11 year old Little League team in New Jersey."
Before regionals, Haddonfield will hold a parade for the team. The parade begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, starting on Kings Highway and Warwick Road, turning right onto Potter and continuing to the Little League fields.

Haddonfield will open Eastern Regionals against Vermont at 1 p.m. Saturday, before facing Maryland at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
