Haddonfield Zoning Board Considers Brandywine Expansion

The Haddonfield zoning board met Tuesday.

The Haddonfield zoning board will considered a use variance application from Brandywine Senior Living for a major expansion of its assisted-care facility on Warwick Road.

Brandywine won an approval from the borough planning board for the project that will increase its size by more than 60 percent after a series of contentious meetings. The process included two rejections from the borough Historic Preservation Commission, which were overruled by the planning board.

Tonight's meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Hall auditorium will focus on a nonconforming use variance. The facility is in a residential neighborhood, but has operated at 132 Warwick Road since 1953. It was formerly known at the Haddonfield Home.
