Haddonfield Public School District Board of Education Member Adam Sangillo passed away Monday night.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield Public School District Board of Education Member Adam Sangillo passed away Monday night, the school district announced in a letter to the community. The district didn’t provide a cause of death for Sangillo, who previously served as the Board of Education's President.
“Adam was a dedicated public servant and an active and effective member of the Haddonfield Board of Education for five years,” Haddonfield Superintendent of Schools Chuck Klaus said in a prepared statement. “He always placed the needs and best interests of the 2,800 students in the Haddonfield School District first and foremost. He brought his passion, his confidence, his humor and his thoughtfulness to every event, meeting and decision. Although a man of strong convictions, Adam was the epitome of a team player.”
Sangillo was also the first vice president of wealth management at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC, according to his LinkedIn page. He graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in economics and finance. He also earned certifications from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
