The students recently were honored by the Board of Education for their showing at a Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey competition.

Haddonfield students have won honors in the statewide world-language contest for the third consecutive year.

The Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey invited all world language teachers to submit a one-minute video podcast of their students speaking in a foreign language.

Borough schools boast an award-winning K-12 world language program, which has placed in the competition since its inception. The three public elementary schools in Haddonfield teach Spanish to all students in grades K-5. In grades 6 through 8 students choose among Spanish, French and German.
