Haddonfield's Candlelight Shopping Nominated For National Award

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield is looking to pile on the honors from USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice travel awards.

Haddonfield Candlelight Shopping holiday event has been nominated as a "Best Holiday Market" the borough announced this week. Voting takes place online daily through Dec. 6. Votes can be cast every day, once a day.

“This is truly exciting to have our favorite holiday shopping event, Candlelight Shopping, included among the nominees for USA Today’s 10Best Holiday Markets,” Partnership for Haddonfield (PfH) Chairwoman Susan Hodges said. “We invite all to shop locally and enjoy our historic Downtown – starting their family traditions and making memories while shopping, dining, and embracing festive fun this upcoming holiday season.”

Candlelight Shopping in Haddonfield runs from Nov. 26 through Dec. 7, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night. There will also be a special Candlelight Shopping additional event for last-minute shoppers on Dec. 23.

Transformed into a winter wonderland, Downtown Haddonfield will be brimming with sparkling white lights and garland wreaths. Every Friday evening leading up to Christmas Day, the streets of Downtown Haddonfield will be lined with luminaria for Candlelight Shopping, providing holiday warmth and a festive atmosphere.

Candlelight Shopping features Santa, carriage rides, carolers and twinkling luminaries lining the quaint streets. Parking is free in the downtown from Thanksgiving through Christmas Day.
