Victim Airlifted With Life-Threatening Injuries In South Jersey Hit-And-Run
Police are seeking the driver who they say fled the scene.
BRIDGETON, NJ — A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after a vehicle struck them Sunday on a South Jersey roadway and fled the scene, police said.
The incident happened around 5:55 p.m. in the intersection of South and Garfield avenues in Bridgeton, authorities said. The driver fled before police arrived, according to law enforcement.
The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden in critical condition.
