Kings Highway Repaving Starts This Month In Haddonfield

The highway is undergoing its first makeover in decades, according to Haddonfield officials.

HADDONFIELD, NJ - Kings Highway in Haddonfield is about to get a massive makeover for the first time in decades, municipal officials said.

Repaving on the highway will begin on Oct. 17 during the overnight hours of 8 p.m. to 6 p.m., and will be split into the following sections, Haddonfield Borough officials said in a statement:

  • Chews Landing to Washington Ave/PATCO
  • Downtown Haddonfield from PATCO to Haddon Avenue
  • Haddon Avenue to Evergreen Lane

Motorists will be able to drive on the highway during the day, officials said.

Camden County, which is sponsoring the project, anticipates the road work to take around two weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Haddonfield police are slated to share detour routes soon.
