New Philly Bar Opened by British Chip Shop Owners

The owners of Haddonfield's British Chip Shop have opened a restaurant and bar in Center City, Philadelphia.

The Victoria Freehouse, at 10, S. Front Street, had a grand opening on Friday.

"We are about authentic British food and craft brews," the Victoria Freehouse website says. "We want to bring you the whole British experience, from pub snacks to curries to a full on Sunday roast, coupled with pub friendly wines, brews, and a friendly football match on the telly. We are passionate about good food and good beer."

Victoria Freehouse is open from noon until 2 a.m. on some nights.
