Obituary: Elizabeth “Bette” J. Kerswill

Elizabeth “Bette” J. Kerswill (nee Powell), 93, of Haddonfield, died Sunday.

She was the wife of the late Edwin C.; Beloved mother of Susan (Donald “Pete”) Carr of Pennsauken; loving grandmother of Christopher (Tricia) Carr of Haddon Township and Amy E. (Francis) Halsted of Pennsauken; devoted great-grandmother of Christopher, Matthew, Bryanna, Gabryelle, Nicholas, Kylie, Alannah and Caelan and caring great-great-grandmother of Chase Michael.

Mrs. Kerswill had been employed as a Classified Ad Inputter for the Suburban Newspaper group in Cherry Hill for 19 years. 

Mrs. Kerswill’s family will receive friends on Thursday, from 10 to 10:45 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Haddonfield, 124 Kings Highway E. Haddonfield, NJ 08033; where her service will follow at 11 a.m.  Interment will be at, Haddonfield Baptist Cemetary.  Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Kerswill’s name to the church at the above address; where she has been a longtime member.  Arrangements by Kain-Murphy Funeral Services.
