Passion Play at Christ the King Marks Good Friday
Students performed the Stations of the Cross.
Students at Christ the King Regional School in Haddonfield performed a Passion play this week to mark Good Friday, signified by Christians as the day Jesus was crucified.
The Stations of the Cross is a popular Catholic devotion which commemorates the Passion and the death of Jesus, according to a news release.
Each of the fourteen stations stands for an event which occurred during Jesus' crucifixion and death at Calvary on Good Friday. The first station represents when
Jesus was condemned to the 14th when Christ was laid in his tomb. People making the Stations of the Cross meditate and pray at each station.
