Whiz Kids: Haddonfield Elementary School Musicians

Names/Schools: Mark Vaughn (Clarinet) and Banks Sapnar (Trumpet) from and Caity Lally (Flute) from

Accomplishment: Mark, Banks and Caity have been accepted into the South Jersey Elementary Honors Band.

Key to Awesomeness: The students are a part of a magical experience that they will take with them for the rest of their life. After being scored by their director, the South Jersey Band and Orchestra Directors Association (SJBODA) critiqued the scores and chose students with the highest mark. The students that were accepted came from all over South Jersey and will come together to create a musical work of art. All accepted students will rehearse on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and then put on a concert for their family and friends at 2 p.m. Music is a universal language that allows students from different backgrounds to come together as one and create a magnificent work of art. Congratulation Mark, Banks and Caity!
