Woman Stops Man From Breaking Into Her Haddonfield Home: Police
When the resident confronted the suspect, he claimed he was there to cut her grass, authorities said.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — A man tried to break into a Haddonfield home on Thursday morning. When a resident confronted him, he claimed he was there to cut her grass, authorities said.
The suspect — later identified as Andrew Capie, 40, of Camden — was caught shortly after, police said.
It happened around 9 a.m. on the 300 block of Kings Highway East. Capie entered a backyard and tried to open a sliding glass door, police said.

When the resident confronted Capie, he said he was there to cut her grass and then fled the area on foot, authorities said. The resident described the man to police, who arrested him moments later.
Capie was charged with criminal trespass and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was also processed for several out-of-town warrants, a Haddonfield borough spokesperson told Patch.

Capie was placed in the Camden County Correctional Facility.
