Anti-Bullying Review for Parents Coming Up This Week

Coming up this week on Patch. . .
Hasbrouck Heights School District will host a forum Monday night for parents on the topic which will review the state anti-bullying policy and also address the dangers of cyber bullying.
The superintendent's community forum will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at the middle school/high school building. The district is bringing back Drew D'Onofrio as guest speaker. A former police officer and investigator with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, he is an expert in cyber-bullying and will address parents on what they should do if their child is cyber-bullying or is a victim of it.

D'Onofrio previously addressed sixth and ninth grade parents at orientation at the start of the school.

As previously reported the new fence for the Franklin Avenue side of Depken Field is expected to be installed at the start of October. Patch will bring readers updates on the project as it moves forward.
Patch also plans to feature the Hasbrouck Heights Kiwanis Club which celebrated 60 years this weekend.
