Field Improvements Continue, Council Meets This Week

A look ahead into the upcoming week

Coming up this week on Patch

Hasbrouck Heights Mayor and Council will meet Tuesday night for its regular public meeting and work session. Discussion during the work session meeting is likely to include updates on the fence work being done at Depken athletic field.

As previously reported work began last week to install the new decorative fence along the Franklin Avenue side of the field. By Friday afternoon it looked as though most of the fencing had been put up but work can expect to continue throughout this week.

The new fence matches the one that borders the Oldfield Avenue side. This upgrade is part of an improvement project for the athletic field which is being funded partially by a grant and partially by the borough.

Patch will update readers on the Tuesday night meeting once details become available.
