Full Day of Family Fun Promised at Sunday's Street Fair
Fourth annual event features foods, rides, live entertainment and much more.
Hasbrouck Heights Police will begin to shut down part of the Boulevard from Raymond to Washington Place at 7 a.m. Sunday to prepare for the fourth annual street fair event.
The fourth annual Hasbrouck Heights Street Fair takes places from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along the Boulevard between Raymond and Washington Place. Once again the street fair promises a full day of family fun complete with food, rides, games, live entertainment.
As always local businesses are a featured part of this event. Many have been posting on their Facebook pages about the special treats they will offer up that day. invites all to stop by for some grilled treats and cool beverages.

will host a pie eating contest and a cupcake eating contest in the tent right outside their shop. Participants can sign up before hand and 10 people will be selected for each contest. The pie eating contest starts at 1 p.m. and the cupcake contest at 2 p.m. will host its annual clam bake.
A fun favorite feature at the annual street fair is the dunk tank, which will be next to the .

The main stage will be set up at Raymond Avenue where the Cameos, the New Jersey’s No. 1 Oldies group, will headline from 3:15 to 5 p.m. Other live entertainment includes DFP featuring Dan Van Orden from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Twisted Charm from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. and Double Tap from 1:45 to 3 p.m.
A children’s stage will be featured at Jefferson Avenue showcasing a costumed character musical revue and a magic show. Free rides and amusements will be presented including a 24-foot hydraulic rock climbing wall, trackless racing cars, and inflatable obstacle course.
Traffic on the Boulevard will be reopened around 7 p.m. Sunday after the street fair festivities and clean-up is complete.
