Heights Council Begins to Complete Year End Business
First regular public meeting of the month and work session of the mayor and council is set for Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Hasbrouck Heights mayor and council will conduct the second to last final meeting for the 2012 year Tuesday, Dec. 11.
The meeting will follow the special meeting the borough is hosting on Superstorm Sandy aftermath which will run from 7 to 8 p.m. in council chambers at Borough Hall.
Among the items on the agenda for the regular public meeting include some preparations for the new year such as authorizing the borough's mutual aid agreement with the South Bergen Fire Chiefs Association for 2013. Related items include authorizing payment to former firemen for 25 years of service and authorizing fire department and ambulance squad percentages.

A bond ordinance for the acquisition of radio upgrades to meet requirements due to Narrow Banding Frequency change is on introduction.
The work session meeting will immediately follow the regular session. Reports on ongoing projects from the Borough's Engineer are expected.
