Lodi Police Search for Alleged Bank Robber

Police in the neighboring borough of Lodi seek the public's help in their search for a man they say robbed the Chase Bank on Essex Street on Monday afternoon.

Lodi Police have released the description of the man they say robbed the Chase Bank on Essex Street Monday afternoon.

The man is described as “a Hispanic male, approximately 5'8"-5'9", slim build, pimples on face, dark hair, mustache, in his late 20's,” according to a statement issued by the Lodi Police Department on Tuesday.

The police say the man was wearing a dark colored hoodie with a white stripe on the sides and a white draw string. Lodi police have also issued a number of photos taken by security cameras. See attached photos.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m. Monday, according to the statement. The actor placed a demand note on the tellers counter and the victim teller gave the actor an undisclosed amount of cash and the actor then fled the bank, the statement reports.
