Meet Kobe, Smudge and Starkist at the County Animal Shelter
Bergen County Animal Shelter conducts adoptions 7 days a week.
This week the featured pets of the week are:
Kobe (ID#89127) Friendly and energetic, Kobe was quite confused when he first arrived at the shelter, but has adjusted nicely to this new environment. With more socialization he will come out of his shell and blossom like a spring flower. His owner surrendered him to the shelter because the other canine in the home did not want another friend. Fortunately, Kobe is doing well and is looking for a patient and understanding family who will provide him with all the necessities to help him grow into a more confident pooch. At one year old, this handsome Pittie is searching for a family that will gradually socialize him with strangers and different places. This should be done on his terms and once he has built a bond with his new adopters.
Smudge (ID# 89536) is a female Rottweiller who is looking for an experienced home who can guarantee she receives the training and balanced lifestyle she needs. Smudge came in because her owners were moving and couldn't take her along. Unfortunately, she is a bit confused and is trying to adapt to her new environment as best as she can. Her new owners should enable her to take her time to adjust and socialize her properly once she has built some trust with her owners. Speaking of socialization, Smudge seems to love to introduce herself to others, but just doesn't quite know how.
Starkist (ID#89308) is a sweet and loving boy. He is about 10 months old. He got his name because he had a can stuck on his head when he came into the shelter.
