Moonachie Mayor Dennis Vaccaro personally thanked members of the Junior Girl Scout 517 and Brownie Troop 4308 for raising more than $300 in gift cards and collected 100 plus toy and game items for the youngsters of Moonachie and Little Ferry affected by Superstorm Sandy.
The girls conducted the drive this past Saturday afternoon manning drop off points at Central Avenue Park and also inside Borough Hall.
