The <a href="http://www.njspotlight.com/stories/13/02/28/average-home-sales-prices/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">average home sale price has decreased in Hasbrouck Heights </a>from 2008 to 2012, according to an interactive map published by NJSpotlight.com. The article shows that the average home sale price in Heights went from $450,781 in 2008 down to $374,224 in 2012, a steady decline from year to year except for a slight bump between 2010 and 2011 where sale price rose again by about $17,000, according to the report. Total decrease over the five year span is 17 percent, NJSpotlight reports. The borough had a property reassessment done in 2011 which resulted in a 25 percent reduction in property value.
