Tentative School Budget, Pops Concert Coming Up This Week

A sneak peak at the week ahead in Hasbrouck Heights

Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education plan to adopt a tenative school budget during a special public meeting set for Wednesday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m.

The tenative budget will then be sent to the county for approval. The board will present the budget in detail to the public at the Thursday, March 21 regular public meeting.

Last week the district learned it would receive $1,101,186 in state aid for school year 2013-2014.

Last March the Hasbrouck Heights district approved a budget with a 3.63 tax point increase amount to an extra $127 in taxes for the year.
