10 DWI Arrests, Porch Pirates Reported In Hillsborough

Hillsborough Police released its blotter for the month of May.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Porch pirates, along with arrests for driving while intoxicated and shoplifting, were reported in May in Hillsborough.

Hillsborough Police Blotter for May:

On May 1: The HOA on Manor Drive reported graffiti on a stop sign and HOA sign in the parking lot. The damage was valued at $100. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 2: Maricela Sanchez, 53, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 2: Darryl Beckett, 54, of Somerset, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 3: Walgreens (706 Rt. 206) reported an unknown man stole $311.92 worth of medical supplies and fled the store when confronted. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 3: Alex Hernandez, 20, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Falcon Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 6: Sandra Briganti, 51, and David Briganti, 50, of Hillsborough, were charged with shoplifting (Disorderly Persons) after an investigation revealed they stole $229 worth of items from Kohls (315 Rt. 206) on April 17. They were processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Courtdate.

On May 7: Jennifer Frank, 34, of Neshanic Station, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Elm Street. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 8: A resident on Crestmont Drive reported the rear window of his vehicle was shattered by an unknown suspect. The damage was valued at $721. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 9: Kohls (315 Rt. 206) reported a man and woman stole $2,720.47 worth of items from the store. They were last seen fleeing in a dark SUV. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 10: Zachary Fletcher, 24, of Milford, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on the Route 206 Bypass. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 13: A resident on Gemini Drive reported a package containing a lamp was stolen after delivery. The lamp was valued at $500. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 13: A stolen U-Haul van was found on Quick Drive after a GPS showed it was in the area. The van was reported stolen on May 12. It was turned over to a representative of the company after the investigation.

On May 13: A resident of Boehm Way reported a theft of a package containing an iPhone. The victim reported the package was delivered to the front porch and was later stolen. The phone was valued at $1,000. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 15: A resident of Hillsborough reported he was threatened by a resident of Trenton over unpaid carpentry bills. The accused denied that he had made any threat and reported the work was never completed. Both parties were advised on how to sign complaints if they wished to do so.

On May 16: James Stelmak, 18, of Livingston, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Park Avenue. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 16: Jill Rielly, 48, of Manville, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Old Camplain Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 20: Weis Market (315 Rt. 206) reported an unknown man took $347 worth of items without paying. He was seen fleeing in a dark SUV. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 21: A resident of Gemini Drive reported that a package was stolen from the front door after delivery. It was unknown what was stolen as the package contained a birthday gift for the victim. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 24: Sharee Smalls, 41, of Chevy Chase, MD, was charged with obstruction (disorderly persons) and hindering (disorderly persons) after providing officers with a false name and fleeing from officers during a disorderly person investigation. She was served with her charges and advised of her Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date before being released.

On May 25: A resident of Scott Drive reported that three out of four tires on their vehicle were slashed. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 25: Jose Rubeiz, 65, of Union, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 25: Donald Bryner, 73, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation in the CVS (220 Triangle Road) parking lot. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 26: Jerreshia Neal, 23, of Perth Amboy, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 26: Stephanie Capps, 33, of Hillsborough, was charged with shoplifting (disorderly persons) for thefts that occurred on May 6 and May 9 at the Weis Market (315 Rt. 206). She was served her charges and advised of the Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 29: Daniel Delvalle, 48, of New Brunswick, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation at the Days Inn (118 Rt. 206). He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On May 31: A resident on Gateway Boulevard reported that a package was stolen after delivery. The package contained $75 worth of makeup and the investigation is ongoing.
