2 Hillsborough Men Charged With Shoplifting At Bridgewater Store

Over $850 in merchandise was lifted from the Bridgewater business, police said.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Two Hillsborough men were charged with shoplifting at a Bridgewater Nordstrom Rack earlier this month, authorities said.

On March 5 at around 2 p.m., Levan Tevzadze, 39, and Asmati Kipiani, 37, both of Hillsborough, were stopped for shoplifting at Nordstrom Rack (362 Chimney Rock Road).

Tevzadze stole store merchandise valued at $452.49 and Kipiani stole store merchandise valued at $399.84, police said.

Both were released on complaint summonses with pending court appearances.

The Nordstrom Rack swipe wasn't the only shoplifting incident reported in Bridgewater this month, police said.

On March 9, at around 3:15 p.m., Hui Li, 32, of Flushing, N.Y., was stopped for shoplifting at Target (200 Promenade Boulevard), according to the latest police blotter statement.

Li stole store merchandise valued at $655.25, police said.

Li was released on a complaint summons with a pending court appearance.
