Dental Clinic Proves Comprehensive in Name and Spirit
Dr. Bhairavi Sheth's Hillsborough Comprehensive Dental Clinic opens.
Hillsborough resident Bhairavi Sheth has been practicing dentistry for 10 years, but until last week, her friends and family had to drive to Bedminster for a visit.
With her new Hillsborough Comprehensive Dental Care office now open, they'll only need to drive to 390 Amwell Road to visit.
Once inside the sleek new office, her patients will find an office aimed at providing not only comprehensive services, but also addressing each patient's needs comprehensively.
And in this day of specialists, a clinic that can treat everyone in the family isn't easy to find.
"One thing I've noticed is it's difficult to find someone who can treat your whole family," she said. Being able to have all family members treated at one location reduces travel time—and the added stress—for a busy family.
That's one part of how Sheth is addressing her patients' anxiety. She's also designed the clinic to be as inviting as possible, from the waiting area with fresh coffee available for adults and colorful toys for kids, to the treatment rooms with state-of-the-art equipment and the modern sterilization room.
"Everything we use is aimed to minimize patient anxiety," Sheth said. "I think that's important—especially in dentistry."
Among the office's advanced techniques and equipment is a VELScope, an oral cancer screening tool that has been proven to aid in the early detection of oral lesions.
Living in Hillsborough with her family for the last two years has helped Sheth get to know the community better—her young daughter is in local soccer leagues and dance classes.
"We're here to develop relationships in the community," she said.
