Theatre tickets, baseball games, gift baskets and more won by local residents.

Five Hillsborough residents were among the more than 30 drawing winners at this year’s Somerset County 4-H Fair.
Kathy Batzer, Margarita Bossa, Lisa Faryniak, Pat Garlipp and Tasha Khosla were among the winners in drawings held at the Somerset County Government tents.
The fair's visitors enjoyed displays, played games, learned about the county and entered the drawings for prizes, which were generously donated by local businesses and organizations.

Drawings for gift certificates for Somerset Patriots games at the TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater for the 2013-2014 seasons included Faryniak's name, and Garlipp won one of two Serenity Baskets packed with items that promote relaxation awarded. The baskets were donated by the Commission on Child Abuse and Missing Children in Somerville.
Also, Khosla won a gift basket of school supplies, donated by the Friends of Somerset County Youth in Bridgewater.
Last but not least, 21 visitors to the Government Tents will be sporting 4-H Fair T-shirts that celebrate Somerset County’s 325th anniversary this year.
“We’re pleased that so many people from our county, neighboring counties and out of state made the 4-H Fair a destination spot and visited the Government tents again this year,” Freeholder Director Peter S. Palmer said. “Thanks to the generosity of many merchants and organizations, we were able to give out wonderful prizes in drawings at various booths.
“The county looks forward to the annual 4-H Fair as a venue for getting the word out about Somerset County’s many programs and services,” he added. “County employees enjoy sharing information with residents and their children in a relaxed atmosphere, and the children enjoy learning about the county through games, hands-on projects and game wheels."
