Hillsborough Candy Shop Closes Storefront After 13 Years
Heavenly Sweets' storefront recently closed in the Township. However, online sales will remain open, said Owner Christine Merriman.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — After 13 years, Heavenly Sweets closed its storefront in Hillsborough.
"Sadly, I have elected to close the storefront. My husband and I had our first baby in September which shifted our priorities as a family, so as this new and wonderful beginning in my life surfaces, something else comes to an end," said Heavenly Sweets Owner Christine Merriman.
Merriman relocated her candy store to 438 Route 206 South in Hillsborough 13 years ago.

"It's been a wonderful 13 years and my small-business pride in serving this community overflows," said Merriman.
Although customers will not be able to see Merriman and her staff face to face in store, they are still operating online.

"You'll be able to order our gourmet chocolates, favors, gift baskets and towers through our website and we'll have the option to ship to you or deliver locally," said Merriman.
The storefront officially closed this past Friday on Feb. 7. Online orders can be made at heavenlysweetsnj.com.
"Thank you to our customers and also to my staff who handcrafted so many amazing creations within the walls of this little sweets shop," said Merriman. "My heart is so warm with beautiful memories."
