A Hillsborough native has been been named to the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference First Team yesterday.
Patrick Roberts, junior baseball player at The College of New Jersey, received the All-NJAC First Team honors on Wednesday, April 29. Roberts received the honors after a vote from 10 head coaches in the NJAC, TCNJ Athletics said. Selections were based strictly on performance in NJAC games.
Roberts has displayed all the necessary tools of the trade in TCNJ’s NJAC matchups, batting .370, with 27 hits, 17 runs scored and 16 runs batted in, according to TCNJ Athletics. He also demonstrated some power at the plate, belting eight extra base hits, including four doubles, three triples and one home run in NJAC play.
