Hillsborough Police: Grocery Store Employee Shoplifts Meats

Hillsborough Police reported community playground was vandalized and a resident reported packages containing hundreds of dollars in merchandise were stolen from her front porch.

4/29/2015 Peter Moschello, 71, of Lebanon was arrested for shoplifting when he attempted to leave the Weis Grocery Store with various types of meat without paying for them. Moschello is an employee at the store. Value of the meat was $134.64. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

4/30/2015 Two different contractors reported damage to construction vehicles sometime overnight while left at a site on Mountain View Road. Total value of the damage $1,375.

5/5/2015 The property manager for a community playground on Nostrand Road reported that it was damaged sometime overnight. Various areas appeared to have been damaged with spray paint.

5/8/2015 A Cardinal Lane resident reported the theft of two packages from her front porch. Value of the items contained in the packages with $195.

5/10/2015 Matthew Plank, 19, of Somerset was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped by police on Route 206. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.09 percent. Plank was also charged with failure to inspect and obstructing traffic. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
