Letter to the Editor: Martinez Best Choice for BOE

The following is a Letter to the Editor submitted by township residents Frank and Ruth Ann Kerr.

Aldo Martinez represents the best of what it means to be a public advocate for children and their education. His history of involvement spans decades of personal commitment to fostering those things that directly assist our children’s growth and development. Whether it be organizing a junior basketball league or serving on the board of St. Peter’s College, he has brought energy, devotion, fine tuned analysis and vision to all he has done.

Mr. Martinez brings a particularly effective executive style to his work. He is devoid of hidden agendas. His understanding of issues is gained through thorough analysis not preconceived notions. His keen mind instinctively defines the issues no matter how complex they may be and he effortlessly finds common ground upon which to begin deliberations. An open mind and an open heart are his hallmarks.

Having worked with Mr. Martinez for several years, we have come to respect his creative initiatives and indefatigable work ethic. More important, we recognize his great success in what he has accomplished for children and the community at large.

There is no finer candidate for Board of Education and we urge you to support Mr. Martinez.
