Medical Center's Graduate Heading to Hillsborough Clinic

Manville resident Anastazja Maziarz, MD, completes Somerset Medical Center's residency program.

Hillsborough's Urgen Care Center will add a new physician to its staff, after Somerset Medical Center's recent celebration of six physicians from its Family Medicine Residency Program graduating, including Anastazja Maziarz, MD, who will be joining the Hillsborough clinic's staff.
The graduating physicians are:

  • Kaneshka Alamshahi, MD, of Bridgewater. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and Ross University School of Medicine. A native of Sacramento, Calif., Alamshahi plans to return to California to practice medicine. 
  • Vikash Patel, MD, of Bridgewater. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and the American University of the Caribbean. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Patel is returning to the Chicago area to practice medicine. 
  • John Torro, MD, of Bridgewater, who served as a chief resident. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Ross University School of Medicine. Torro will continue his medical training with a faculty development fellowship at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, Massachusetts. 
  • Olga Wiley, MD, of Parlin. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She will be joining a private practice in Texas. 
  • Anastazja Maziarz, MD, of Manville. She is a graduate of Rutgers University- Rutgers College and Faculty li-Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland. She will be joining Somerset Medical Center Primary Care Center at Hillsborough. 
  • Ryan Subrati, MD, of Piscataway, who served as a chief resident. He is a graduate of New York University and Ross University School of Medicine. He will be joining a private practice in Morris County. 
During the graduation ceremony held at the Bridgewater Marriott, Wiley was honored with the Resident Teacher of the Year award in recognition of demonstrated interest, ability and commitment to family medicine education, and her demonstrated skills and interests in teaching. 

Patel received the Clinical Excellence award in recognition of his outstanding clinical knowledge, judgment and skills, and his dedication to providing compassionate patient care.
